March 15, 2021 The Public Prosecutor of Biella has opened a file for the death of Sandro Tognatti, 57 years old from Cossato (Biella), clarinet teacher at the Novara Conservatory.

On March 13, the teacher was given a dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine from batch ABV5811 and the man died on March 14.

As part of the investigations, the prosecutor of Biella ordered the seizure of the entire lot throughout Italy as a precaution, as had already done by the Syracuse prosecutor who is investigating the case of the non-commissioned officer of the Navy who died after the vaccine.

The operations, investigative sources confirm to La Presse, are taking place throughout the Peninsula by the Nas carabinieri.

Also present in Veneto are the Astrazeneca vaccines from the Piedmontese batch that ends with the figures AZ5811 blocked today by the Public Prosecutor of Biella.

This was communicated by the president of the Veneto Region Luca Zaia during the usual update press conference.

The batch included 41,300 doses.

20,952 have been administered in Veneto, 20,348 remain now blocked.
