  According to reports, the incident occurred at the Katagai Fishing Port in Kujukuri Town, Chiba Prefecture. The local fire department rushed to the scene to rescue the incident after receiving the alarm.

  After the incident, the local police and fire department stated that the explosion occurred inside a ship moored in a fishing port. When the explosion occurred, two crew members were cutting metal objects inside the ship.
