A bottle of D'Ussé cognac, a brand with which the rapper Jay-Z is associated, was auctioned at Sotheby's in New York for 52,500 dollars (44,000 euros), this Saturday, reports

The bottle known as “Bouteille n ° 1” is a limited edition of a Grande Champagne cognac distilled in 1969, the year of the American star's birth.
It takes the form of a crystal carafe cut in the shape of a diamond.

This particular bottle was a gift made to the rapper by D'Ussé, a brand that he created about ten years ago with the group of Charentais traders Otard, specifies the regional daily.
The bottle was presented to him in December 2019 when the rapper was celebrating his 50th birthday.
In all, fifty bottles were produced to be distributed to those around him.
