Bonn (dpa) - The old and very likely new Baden-Württemberg Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann has successfully merged the economy and climate protection from the point of view of Cem Özdemir (both Greens).
The result of the state elections on Sunday was "a very personal success for Winfried Kretschmann and the way he leads the country," said Özdemir on Monday to the television station Phoenix.
However, Kretschmann also promotes climate protection "in partnership with business so that both are winners".
The economy earns “good money with climate protection,” said the former federal chairman of the Greens.
From Baden-Württemberg one can learn "how to modernize the economy in such a way that in the future green ideas can be in the black".
