The result of a public opinion poll came out today (15th) that the former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol leads the Democratic Party's standing chairman Lee Nak-yeon, along with Gyeonggi Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myeong, by a gap of more than 10 percentage points in the next presidential election.



The Korea Institute of Social Opinion (KSOI) commissioned TBS to survey 1,10 people aged 18 years and older across the country on the suitability of the next president, and as a result, Mr. Yoon received 37.2% of the support.



This was 24.2% of Governor and 13.3% of Lee Chairman.



Former President Yoon's approval rating rose 4.8 percentage points from the same survey a week ago.



The Governor's approval rating rose 0.1 percentage points, and Chairman Lee fell 1.6 percentage points.



The gap between former President Yoon and Governor Lee's approval rating widened from 8.3 percentage points to 13 percentage points.



By region, former President Yoon received high support from Daegu, Gyeongbuk (52.6%), Daejeon, Sejong, Chungcheong (46.7%), and Seoul (46.1%).



Compared to Jeonju, the approval ratings for Daegu and Gyeongbuk by former President Yoon increased 17.3 percentage points, the approval rating for Daejeon, Sejong and Chungcheong rose 9.2 percentage points, and the approval rating for Seoul rose 6.3 percentage points.



The supporters of the people's strength (71.2%), the people's party supporters (61.8%), and the conservative-minded group (54.2%) also supported President Yun.



Governor Lee received the most support from Democratic Party supporters (48.6%) and progressive (43.4%), and Chairman Lee received the most support from Gwangju and Jeolla (38.5%).



In addition, independent legislator Hong Joon-pyo 5.7%, former Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae 2.7%, Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun 2.4%, and people's power Seung-min Yoo 2.2%.



The sampling error of this poll is ±3.1% points with a 95% confidence level.
