Sarah Everard was 33 years old.

The young woman disappears on March 3, around 9:30 p.m., in south London, as she returns home.

A week later, police discovered human remains in a wooded area in the Kent region, 90 kilometers south of the British capital.

DNA analysis of teeth confirms Sarah's body.

It is in this region where Wayne Couzens lives, accused of having kidnapped and killed the young woman.

since 2018. His trial will be held on Tuesday March 17th.

In the capital, the story is shocking and outrageous.

On social networks, many women explain that they no longer feel safe at night.

On Saturday March 13, a rally for Sarah and for the re-appropriation of the streets by women was organized in Clapham Common, a London borough where the 30-something disappeared.

Hundreds of people honored Sarah and spoke out against violence against women.

Among them, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, came to deposit daffodils at the foot of the memorial.
