Berlin (dpa) - SPD General Secretary Lars Klingbeil has spoken out in favor of a traffic light coalition with the participation of the SPD in Baden-Württemberg.
"We want to govern, we want to take responsibility," said Klingbeil after the preliminary election results became known on Sunday evening.
Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann now has to decide whether he, as a Green, wants to continue to govern “with this union that is devoid of content” or whether he would be willing “to take on responsibility with a progressive alliance,” said Klingbeil.
