Stuttgart (dpa) - The SPD youth organization Jusos is calling for a relentless research into the causes after the loss of votes in the state elections in Baden-Württemberg.
"Euphemisms and excuses are out of place," it says in a message.
"We have to look for the reasons for this election defeat in ourselves."
The party around SPD top candidate Andreas Stoch should not simply refer to the strength of the Green Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann or the opposition role of the past five years.
"Stoch has to deliver now," demanded the Jusos.
He can only agree to a possible traffic light coalition with the Greens and the FDP if such a government brings real progress for the younger generation.
