Italy records 264 deaths and 21,315 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health said that Italy recorded 264 deaths related to the Corona virus, today, compared to 317 yesterday, while the number of new infections today decreased to 21,315 from 26,062 the previous day.

The ministry added that about 273966 Covid-19 tests were performed yesterday, compared with 372944 previously.

Italy has recorded 102,145 deaths linked to Covid-19 since its appearance in February of last year, the second highest in Europe after Britain and the seventh highest in the world.

The total number of injuries in Italy has reached 3.2 million so far.
