Enrico Letta, 54,

considered a bit of a reserve for the Italian Republic

, is embarking on a new adventure that does not look easy.

He must give an identity back to the Democratic Party, in the midst of a crisis and which has only been credited with 15% in the polls in recent weeks.

For this, the former

President of the Council

wants to make this center-left force much closer to the citizens than to the elites.

By announcing the first lines of his reform project, he promised that he will fully engage in the battle for gender parity - including within the leadership of the PD - but also for the right to vote. to young people from the age of 16.
