The Croatian handball players, vice-European champions in 2020, won 30 to 27 against Tunisia, Sunday in Montpellier for their last match of the Olympic qualifying tournament, and can still hope to win one of the two tickets for the Games from Tokyo.

With 4 points on the clock, the Croats now need a victory or a draw for the France team against Portugal in the evening (9 p.m.), or a large Portuguese victory (of 7 goals or 8 if the French register 21), to compete in the Olympics-2020, postponed for one year to the summer of 2021 (July 23-August 8) due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
