Mainz (dpa / lrs) - Germersheim was the first constituency that was completely counted on the evening of the state elections.
There are a total of 52 constituencies in Rhineland-Palatinate, they have been redesigned.
In the state votes in Germersheim, the SPD was ahead with 33.8 percent, followed by the CDU with 23.9, the AfD with 14.1, the FDP with 7.2 and the Greens with 8.0.
According to the results so far, the SPD politician Markus Kropfreiter just won with 7,398 votes out of 7,393 from CDU applicant Tobias Baumgärtner.
