Colombia's total coronavirus cases hit 2.3 million

This was reported by the country's Ministry of Health and Social Protection on Twitter.

The total number of deaths in Colombia was 61,143.

Since the start of the pandemic, more than 2.2 million coronavirus patients have recovered in the country.

Earlier, Colombia extended the ban on crossing land and river borders for another three months - until June 1 - in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
