US local media such as CNN reported that a female passenger in San Francisco in the United States, who was coughing an Asian Uber driver who asked him to wear a mask, was arrested by the police.

The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) said on the 12th that it had arrested Mullaser King, 24, in Las Vegas for allegations of assault and beating, assault using corrosive chemicals, conspiracy, and violation of health and safety regulations.

King boarded an Uber vehicle driven by a 32-year-old Shuhaka Cardka in San Francisco on Sunday, with a group of two women.

Seeing that one person did not wear a mask, Khadka asked to wear a mask.

Khadka pulled up at a nearby gas station so they could buy masks, and racist slang and ridicule began to pour out on him.

Among the passengers, Kimi Ai took off his mask and coughed several times towards the card car, and then King laughed and said, "I have Corona 19."

Kimi Ai attempted to steal Kadka's mobile phone and pulled out his mask.

Khadka, who came to the United States seven years ago and worked hard to support her family in Nepal, said she was treated like this because of her skin color.

"Violent crimes against Asian Americans are on the rise. It's disgusting that people think it's okay to treat others that way," he said.

The incident became controversial online when Kadka posted a 42-second video on social media that captured passengers coughing and removing masks in a riot.
