The death of 7 patients in Corona due to the lack of oxygen in the Salt Hospital in the Jordanian capital (Amman) sparked a state of double sorrow for many Egyptians, besides grief over the death of their Jordanian brothers, the accident brought back to their memories what happened at the beginning of this year in the isolation hospital for Corona patients in the city of Husseiniya in Sharkia Governorate.

Egyptian activists compared the measures taken by the Jordanian authorities, which included the dismissal of the Minister of Health, Nazir Obeidat, and the director of the hospital, and the suspension of the official in charge of health in the region, as well as the government holding an emergency meeting, and the immediate visit of the King of Jordan, King Abdullah II, to the hospital, and the negligence of the Egyptian authorities. They saw that it did nothing but arrest the person, who filmed the incident and posted the video on social media.

This video had shown critical cases inside the intensive care room, and a person repeated the phrase "all those in the care were dead," while the footage showed patients lying on the beds without making sure whether they died or not, and in the video also some were trying to save another patient, while I sat A nurse on the ground from the shock in a shot spread like lightning on the communication platforms.

I need to breath 💔.

Tweeters compared what happened in Jordan, especially the king's move himself to the hospital;

To find out the truth of what happened, as well as the positions of the government and the minister who submitted his resignation based on the king's desire, according to the assurances of Jordanian sources to Al Jazeera.

In Egypt, the government contented itself with arresting the owner of the video amid a great state of denial of the event, and accused the Egyptian Minister of Health, Hala Zayed, the Brotherhood of spreading false rumors, confirming that there was no lack of oxygen inside the ministry's hospitals, and that those who died inside the hospital were Respirators, and that their death is natural as a result of their deterioration due to infection with the Coronavirus, and because they have chronic diseases.

And the Jordanian government had announced the death of a number of Corona patients due to lack of oxygen from them in the Salt Governmental Hospital (west of the Jordanian capital) Amman, while the Minister of Health announced his resignation from his post, stressing during a press conference that he “bears moral responsibility for the accident that occurred at Salt Hospital.”

The King of Jordan, Abdullah II, ordered the formation of a military medical committee from the Royal Medical Services, to find out the circumstances of the accident, and military sources told local media that the committee is headed by the advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Brigadier General Doctor Adel Al-Wahhadneh, provided that all the results of the investigations are presented to the king as soon as they are completed. .
