Hanover (dpa / lni) - Rain, thunderstorms and squalls have shaped the weather in Lower Saxony on Saturday.

As the German Weather Service announced, two storm lows bring very changeable weather until Monday.

The meteorologists reckoned with stormy gusts and isolated gusts of up to 95 kilometers per hour.

In Laatzen in the Hanover region, a metal part of a company logo fell onto a cycle path from a height of around ten meters after gusts of wind, as the fire brigade announced.

The fire brigade closed the street and dismantled the remaining parts that were still hanging on the facade of the building.
