For example, restaurants and cafes ranked first in the spending ranking: in 39.3% of cases, respondents admitted that the largest part of their travel budget is spent on food.

In second place is food - this option was chosen by 37% of Russians, and 35.8% of tourists spend significant amounts on excursions or visiting museums.


Spending on shopping and other entertainment was noted by 23.6% of respondents.

In addition, 23.3% of Russians admitted that most of the money is spent on buying souvenirs, and 6.1% leave the maximum amount in the SPA.

According to the survey, 41.9% often exceed their travel budget.

34.8% of respondents answered that this happens sometimes, and 11.9% of survey participants - that they almost always keep within the framework.

Analysts also found that the most common budget per person during holidays, excluding the cost of tickets and accommodation, ranges from 20 thousand to 50 thousand rubles - this is what 31.9% of respondents spend.

20.1% of those surveyed travel more economically and try to keep within the amount of 10 thousand to 15 thousand rubles, and 16.5% of Russians manage to spend less than 10 thousand rubles, the study says. 

A total of 3.4 thousand people took part in the survey.
