The measure applies to all higher education institutions in the country and is intended as a corona measure.
Usually between 1,200 and 1,500 write the university entrance exam at Karlstad University in the spring semester and there are about as many who will have the opportunity to do so this spring, despite the corona pandemic, according to Helena Pallin who is head of the education support department.
Long time until the next test
However, the next test opportunity is almost two months away in time, on 8 May.
And it does not feel completely fair, says test writer Janneke Barneveld who goes to Sundsta-Älvkullegymnasiet in Karlstad and who hopes for a good test result and that she can get into the nursing program in Örebro.
- I would rather have had the later test opportunity and had more time to study, she says.
Helena Pallin answers that it will clearly be an injustice in that those who have been given a later test opportunity can learn more.
- But the reason for the division is to be able to carry out a test at all, which we are very happy that we can do.
