Hamburg (AP) - The handball lynxes Buchholz 08-Rosengarten have suffered a setback in the fight to remain in the women's handball league.

On Saturday evening, the team of coach Dubravko Prelcec was defeated by SV Union Halle-Neustadt with 24:27 (11:15) and fell back to a relegation place, as the previous pursuer Frisch Auf Göppingen kidnapped both points at HSG Bad Wildungen.

Sarah Lamp was the best lynx thrower with six goals.

Meanwhile, Buxtehuder SV suffered another defeat after two draws and one win.

At Thuringian HC, coach Dirk Leun's team lost 24:31 (13:17).

The guests had been able to keep the game open until the 41st minute and fought their way from 11:17 to 19:21, but then the THC clearly pulled away again and made the decision.

The best BSV thrower was Caroline Müller-Korn, who scored six goals.
