Freiburg wants to return the favor for defeat against Mainz

Freiburg (dpa / lsw) - One week after the 3-0 home defeat against RB Leipzig, SC Freiburg wants to return to the road to success today.

With a win at relegation-threatened FSV Mainz 05, Baden would be able to keep up with the European Cup of the Bundesliga.

In addition, they want to return the favor for the embarrassing 1: 3 defeat in the first leg against the 05er.

Freiburg's flank player Jonathan Schmid is likely to play his 274th Bundesliga game in Mainz, making himself the only French record player in the league's history.
