“Today, at about 17:20 (14:30 Moscow time), during the landing approach at the Almaty airport, communication with the An-26 aircraft, following the Nur-Sultan - Almaty route, was lost.
The alarm was immediately announced, the airport emergency services went to the site, ”the airport’s press service said on Facebook.
The press service also told RIA Novosti that the plane, according to preliminary information, belongs to the Border Service of the KNB of Kazakhstan, there were six people on board.
Earlier it became known that an An-26 plane crashed near the Alma-Ata airport.
According to Interfax, there are fatalities as a result of the accident.
