Berlin (dpa) - According to Gerald Asamaoh, the FC Schalke 04 team has not dealt with speculations about a return of Ralf Rangnick.
"Not at all," emphasized the former national soccer player before the game of the bottom of the table from Gelsenkirchen on Saturday (3:30 p.m.) in the Bundesliga at VfL Wolfsburg on Sky.
"For us these are secondary things that we cannot influence," said Asamoah, who is employed as the licensing coordinator at Schalke.
The day before it had been reported in the media that Rangnick was to be brought back to FC Schalke by an unspecified group.
There was also talk of a preliminary settlement, which the association later denied in a communication.
The 61-year-old Rangnick is currently without a job.
