Seven people died yesterday in Salt Hospital in Jordan, after their oxygen was cut off, and the Prime Minister, Bishr Al-Khasawneh, announced the dismissal of the Minister of Health, Nazir Obeidat, and said that what happened in Salt Hospital was a great matter, and it could not be justified.

The Jordanian News Agency (Petra) quoted Bishr Al-Khasawneh as saying that the government bears full responsibility for the accident at Salt Hospital, and has directed an immediate investigation into the incident, stressing that the investigation will be clear, transparent and comprehensive, and all its details will be made public.

Al-Khasawneh indicated that he had requested the Judicial Council to conduct an investigation through the Public Prosecution, and to issue the results of its investigations independently and clearly, to ensure the integrity and integrity of the investigations.

And he stressed the need for everyone who is responsible to bear the consequences that affect him in accordance with the provisions of the law, and he also declared a state of emergency in Jordan's hospitals, to ensure the safety of procedures.

The Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, inspected the conditions in Salt Governmental Hospital, after the accident, and the forensic medicine announced that the bodies of the deceased in the accident were delivered to their families, explaining that all the deceased were infected with the new Corona virus (Covid-19), and the cause of their death was lack of oxygen.

Jordan is facing a significant increase in Corona injuries, mainly due to the rapid spread of the British strain, and last week the authorities announced more stringent measures to curb the spread of the disease, and re-imposed general isolation on Fridays.
