The police launched Operation Costa in February 2017 after information about a network of Swedes in Portugal who were suspected of smuggling drugs to Sweden.
Under cover, police "Ivan" got in touch with a 58-year-old and a 40-year-old who were singled out as key people in an extensive drug dealing.
The men were charged with extremely serious drug smuggling and extremely serious drug offenses.
The verdict is announced today in Attunda District Court.
The defense has emphasized that the police engaged in unauthorized criminal provocation, while the prosecutor says that they stayed within the law.
