People from all walks of life commemorate the 96th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's death in Beijing

On the morning of the 12th, people from all walks of life gathered in Zhongshan Hall, Zhongshan Park, Beijing, to hold a brief and solemn ceremony to commemorate the 96th anniversary of the death of Mr. Sun Yat-sen and deeply cherish the memory of this great pioneer of the democratic revolution.

　　At 10:30 in the morning, people from all walks of life who participated in the ceremony stood in silence in front of the statue of Mr. Sun Yat-sen and bowed three times.

The Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Battelle represents the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Wan Exiang, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee, represents the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang; Tan Tianxing, Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee, represents the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee On behalf of the Beijing Municipal Government, Vice Mayor Yang Jinbai of Beijing, and Wang Hong, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee and chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese Nationalist Revolutionary Committee, presented a flower basket to Mr. Sun Yat-sen on behalf of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang.

　　The commemoration ceremony was presided over by Zheng Jianbang, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice chairman of the National Revolutionary Committee.

　　Responsible persons from the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the National Revolutionary Committee of the People's Republic of China, and Beijing Municipality attended the ceremony.
