China News Service, Nanjing, March 12 (Reporter Zhu Xiaoying) In the center of the circular tomb of the Zhongshan Mausoleum in Nanjing, there is a lying white marble statue of Sun Yat-sen.

In the red copper coffin below the tomb, Mr. Sun Yat-sen slept here forever.

On the morning of the 12th, mourners from all walks of life in Jiangsu Province and Nanjing City circled the stone fence slowly and round the coffin.

  March 12, 2021 is the 96th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's death.

On the same day, as usual, people from all walks of life in Jiangsu Province and Nanjing paid a visit to Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum.

  Mr. Sun Yat-sen is a great national hero, a great patriot, and a great pioneer of China's democratic revolution.

Before his death, he urged to be buried in the forests of Jinling Mountain, "Because Nanjing was the place where the Provisional Government was established, the Revolution of 1911 must not be forgotten."

  The Zhongshan Mausoleum was built on the basis of Nanjing's Purple Mountain and is magnificent.

Sun Yat-sen's body was settled here in 1929.

So far, the cemetery is well protected.

  In the early spring, thousands of trees in Zhongshan Mausoleum are lush, spitting out fresh green.

In the morning, people from all walks of life, dressed in dark clothes, gathered in front of the "Boai" workshop handwritten by Mr. Zhongshan, and started walking at 9 o'clock.

They climbed 392 levels of stone steps and arrived at the altar.

  In the center of the sacrificial hall stands a white marble statue of Sun Yat-sen.

Mr. Zhongshan in the statue holds a scroll and looks ahead.

All stood silently.

People from all walks of life presented flowers to the statue and bowed three times.

Passing through the tomb gate with the "Forever Forever" banner written by Mr. Zhongshan, people circle the spirit and pay homage to them.

  Li Yusheng, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and deputy chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Revolutionary Committee, attended and presided over the Ye Ling ceremony that day.

  Li Yusheng said: "The '14th Five-Year Plan' period is at the historical intersection of the'two centenary goals'.
