According to Charnogursky, Matovich and his government have been criticized for not coping with the situation with the coronavirus in the country.

“And then Matovich, previously in no way suspected of sympathy for Russia, suddenly begins to praise the Russian Sputnik V vaccine, its effectiveness and high quality production, and then declares the need to purchase it, despite the lack of registration with the European Medicines Agency (EMA) ", - RIA Novosti quotes the words of the ex-prime minister.

According to him, "Foreign Minister Korchok was greatly offended by the fact that the prime minister ignored him when delivering the vaccine."

Earlier it became known that the head of the Ministry of Health of Slovakia, Marek Krajci, was dismissed due to disagreements over the purchase of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine in the ruling coalition.

Slovakia received the first consignment of the drug from Russia on March 1; Matovic was the initiator of the delivery.

This caused a sharp reaction from the leaders of the right-wing parties that are part of the ruling coalition.

It was also reported that Slovakia received 15 thousand doses of AstraZeneca vaccine as a gift from France.
