For more than an hour, the Head of State and the new opposition leader discussed several topics.

I had a working session this Friday with the leader of the political opposition, Eddie Komboigo. Our discussions focused on the major problems of our country and the answers to be provided.

It is in a collective approach that we will build a prosperous Burkina Faso.

It was first for

Eddie Komboïgo

to better understand the vision of President Rock Marc Christian Kaboré on national reconciliation.

“

We took care to remind the President of Faso that we very rarely heard from him after the elections on reconciliation.

On these aspects, he reassured us that he will do it and that it will be good that in the days and months to come there are strong acts which show that the Burkinabè are going on the path of reconciliation.

 "

On the security level Eddie Komboïgo says he came to learn about the state of the equipment of the Burkinabè armed forces in the fight against terrorism and especially a clarification of the option chosen by the Head of State in the context of this fight.

The Head of State assured us that today the soldiers were well enough equipped to face this hydra which strikes and mourns our country.

I think that on this vision, it would be good for the Head of State to state his policy quite clearly on the option which is to go head-on or to involve the negotiation.

 "

The leader of the opposition calls for significant assistance to be provided to the families of deceased soldiers as part of the fight against insecurity.
