Dresden (dpa / sn) - The Dresden Administrative Court has confirmed the ban on the "lateral thinking" demonstration on Saturday in the Saxon capital.

On Friday, the judges followed the city's assessment, which among other things had cited the high and, recently, rising infection rate in Dresden as the reason for their ban.

According to Saxony's current Corona Protection Ordinance, demonstrations with a maximum of 1000 people are allowed.

The court said, among other things, that demonstrators arriving from outside the city cannot be expected to leave the city again when the permitted number of participants has been reached.
