The Ministry of Justice conducted a survey in January of a total of 1,000 people in their 20s and 30s who experienced divorce or separation of their parents when they were minors, and announced the results.



When asked whether they lived with their father or mother after their parents separated, 79% were mothers and 21% were fathers.



When asked about the financial impact of divorce, 20% said they were "suffering", 20% were "slightly suffering", 24% were "almost unchanged", and 7% were "rather improved". 40% of the respondents answered that they were suffering.



When asked how they felt about the remarriage of their parents who lived together, 34% answered that they did not get used to the new environment, followed by 17% who felt that they had taken their parents. , "I didn't meet my remarriage partner" was 16%, "I was happy to have more families", "I was confused by more families", and "Parents were aware of me", all of which were 15%.



When asked multiple answers about the support measures necessary for children whose parents are divorced or separated, 44% answered "a system for checking mental and health aspects" and "established a familiar consultation desk". 43% and 37% "establish a law that respects the rights of children".
