Iserlohn (dpa) - For "personal reasons", defender Ryan Johnston and the Iserlohn Roosters from the German Ice Hockey League terminated the contract with immediate effect.
The 29-year-old Canadian had only moved to the Roosters last December and scored 13 points in 17 games.
“Ryan's sporting quality is undisputed.
Unfortunately, he has to return to his home country for private reasons, which is why we complied with his request to terminate his contract, ”said sporting director Christian Hommel.
