China News Service, Nur Sultan, March 11, Yerevan News: The Prime Minister's Office of Armenia said on the 10th local time that the order to dismiss Gasparyan, the chief of the General Staff of the Asian Army, came into effect.

  The Prime Minister’s Office statement stated that after receiving the proposal for the removal of Gasparyan’s chief of staff from Prime Minister Pashinyan for the second time, President Sarkisian neither signed the relevant proposal within the prescribed time limit nor submitted it to the constitution. The court applied for a ruling.

Under this circumstance, Pahinyan’s order to dismiss Gasparyan’s chief of staff took effect on the 10th.

  Subsequently, Pashinyan announced the nomination of Artak Davqiang as the new chief of staff candidate, and submitted this nomination to President Sarkisian.

  In this regard, the Asian Presidential Palace refuted related claims.

The Presidential Palace stated in a statement that it has applied to the Constitutional Court to review the legality of Gasparyan’s dismissal.

  According to a report by the Armenian News Agency on the 10th, after the Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement, Gasparyan also said that the Prime Minister’s order of dismissal against him violated the Constitution and that he would file a lawsuit in the relevant courts.

  According to a report by RIA Novosti on the 10th, the general staff of the runner-up issued a statement on February 25, stating that "the government's weak governance and wrong foreign policy have caused the country to be on the verge of destruction" and demanded the resignation of Pashinyan and his cabinet.

Pahinyan, on the grounds of "attempted coup d'etat", announced the dismissal of Gasparyan's chief of staff and submitted relevant proposals to President Sarkisian.

He also called on supporters to take to the streets.

Sarkisian rejected Pashinyan’s proposal on February 27, and Pashinyan subsequently submitted the proposal to Sarkisian again.

According to the Asian Constitution, the prime minister’s proposal to dismiss the chief of staff must be approved by the president before it can take effect, and the president has the right to reject the proposal within 3 days.

  On the 10th, protesters demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Pashinyan took to the streets to rally.

Earlier that day, protesters blocked the two entrances of the Asian Parliament Building and set up tents nearby.
