Kramfors was hit hard this spring when the corona pandemic swept across the country.

In elderly care, both staff and the elderly fell ill, and in the municipality a total of 36 people have died in the suites of covid-19 during the past year.

Survived - but difficult suites

Corona statistics are relentless.

A total of 15,400 people in the county have been found infected and on Wednesday the total death toll in the county's municipalities was summed up to 413 people.

Lena Grundström, who works at the Captain's nursing home on a daily basis, is one of the 139 who received intensive care for severe covid during the year.

She fell ill at the same time as her husband and had to be taken to hospital after an acute respiratory arrest at home.

She survived one still has suites after the disease;

headache, muscle aches, lung effects and fatigue.

One of many stories

Today, she works with the mass tests that are offered to elderly care staff before they go on their work shifts.
