Kretschmann expects to cope with the pandemic at the end of the summer

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann (Greens) expects, under certain conditions, a return to normality at the end of summer.

Provided there are no further mutants in the corona pandemic, said the head of government on Thursday evening in a round of the top candidates for the state election in the SWR.

"God keep us from that," he said.

But if that doesn't happen, the prospects are good.

Education Minister Susanne Eisenmann (CDU) also said she hoped that the Corona crisis would be over in late summer.
