Potsdam (dpa / bb) - The number of new infections with the corona virus is increasing significantly in Brandenburg.
The Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 452 new cases were registered within one day.
The previous day there were 305 and on Tuesday 136 new infections.
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days rose to 66.9 on Thursday, after 60.6 the previous day.
According to the decision of the federal-state conference, certain easing of the corona restrictions should only be possible from a seven-day incidence below 50.
The hotspot in Brandenburg is still the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district with an incidence of 146.3, followed by the Elbe-Elster district with a value of 123.7.
All other districts and urban districts were below the 100 mark.
Frankfurt (Oder) has the lowest incidence with 22.5.
327 corona patients are treated in the hospital, 91 of them in intensive care units.
In connection with the Covid 19 disease, 8 people recently died in Brandenburg.
So far, a good 230,000 Brandenburgers have received vaccinations against the corona virus, including almost 80,000 people who have already been vaccinated twice.
