Ingelfingen (dpa / lsw) - Around half a million euros in damage was caused by a fire in Ingelfingen (Hohenlohekreis district).

The fire broke out on Thursday morning in the barn, the police said.

The flames then spread to the roof trusses of two residential buildings.

In addition, other houses in the center of the village were damaged by the fire.

Nobody was injured in the fire.

The barn that was used to store firewood burned down completely.

The two residential buildings were so badly damaged by the flames that they are no longer habitable.

The residents had to be accommodated with friends and acquaintances, the police said.
