The change the government has made in the restriction regulation allows museums and art galleries to open from 11 March, under the same congestion rules as shops and gyms.
This means that Jönköping County Museum can now reopen, with some restrictions, but despite this the county museum is closed.
- It is far from only us who think that this has been unclear, many museums and art galleries have contacted the association Sweden's Museums, says Johan Gärskog, museum director at Jönköping County Museum.
Vandalorum open for pre-booked visits
The Vandalorum Museum in Värnamo uses pre-booked visits.
People can call there to come and go to an exhibition, for example.
Eksjö Museeum is still closed after a decision by the municipal board in November last year, the decision is valid until March 23 this year and may be extended.
Digital tour of the Match Museum
The Match Museum, which is housed in an old wooden building from 1848 near the southern shore of Lake Vättern, is closed for physical visits.
However, it is possible to take a virtual tour of the museum on their website.
