Leipzig (dpa / sa) - On Wednesday, the expected storm low is brewing over a thick blanket of high fog in Saxony-Anhalt.

As a spokesman for the German Weather Service (DWD) announced, it remains dry during the day at 5 to 8 degrees.

The storm bottom arrives in the evening hours.

The night is therefore already influenced by the storm low: rain spreads from the west, which according to the forecast will reach all regions from midnight.

The wind also increases significantly during the night and the first gusts of 60 km / h can be expected towards morning.

On the Brocken and the mountain peaks, the DWD warns of hurricanes with up to 140 km / h.

The temperatures are between 5 and 3 degrees.

"The night is the starting signal for a very windy and mild weather section for the coming days," said a spokesman for the DWD.
