The investigation continues after the discovery of the body of a 14-year-old girl on Monday evening in Argenteuil, in Val-d'Oise, below the Gennevilliers viaduct.
Two college students were presented to a judge on Wednesday for murder after the death of the young girl, found drowned in the Seine, announced the public prosecutor of Pontoise.
"The two minors were referred this afternoon for the opening of a [judicial] investigation for facts of assassination with requisition of a committal warrant", declared Eric Corbaux during a press conference.
During their police custody, "they did not express any immediate remorse either," he continued.
The two suspects being minors, they risk a maximum of 20 years in prison.
