According to the press service officer of the LPR defense department Ivan Filiponenko, the LPR forces "were forced to suppress enemy firing points in the area of the settlement of Katerinovka."
His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Filiponenko added that such steps were taken due to "increased enemy fire activity and the injury of a serviceman."

“I would like to draw your attention to the fact that all accusations by the Ukrainian side of violation of the ceasefire by the People's Militia of the LPR are an information provocation, as well as an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to justify their criminal actions in the eyes of the international community,” Filiponenko said at a briefing.
On March 4, the People's Police Department of the LPR announced that the Ukrainian military had fired at the village of Kalinovka from mortars.
