Oman extends the suspension of entry to the Sultanate for those coming from 10 countries

The Supreme Committee in charge of discussing a mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Sultanate of Oman decided today to extend the suspension of entry to the Sultanate until further notice for those coming from ten countries: the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of Lebanon, the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Nigeria, the Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Ghana The Republic of Guinea, the Republic of Sierra Leone and the Republic of Ethiopia.

With the exception of Omani citizens, diplomats, health workers and their families, the excluded groups will be subject to the procedures adopted upon entering the Sultanate.

The committee also decided to extend the continuation of students receiving education in government schools by means of distance learning for another two weeks, ending on Thursday, March 25, 2021 AD, with the exception of twelfth grade students who will be dealt with in the integrated education system.
