The opportunity made the thieves.

Tuesday, shortly after 6 p.m., a crew of the Toulouse municipal police who were patrolling the side of the Place Esquirol, in the city center, surprised the merry-go-round of two unscrupulous teenagers.

The friends took advantage of the sleep of a homeless man to steal his satchel.

The suspects still had it with them when they were caught by officials as they rushed into the subway to flee.

The two boys, aged 16 and 17, were brought to the central police station where they were still in custody on Wednesday.

They are already known to the police.

The victim found his bag and decided to file a complaint.
