Potsdam (AP) - Turbine Potsdam has suffered another setback in the women's soccer Bundesliga.
In a catch-up game on the tenth game day, the Brandenburgers did not get past a 0-0 win against promoted Werder Bremen on Wednesday and also remained without a win in the fourth league game in a row.
By winning points, Potsdam pushed Leverkusen past Leverkusen to fourth place.
Potsdam coach Sofian Chahed relied on Zala Mersnik instead of Emma Lind in goal.
"We've seen in the last few days that Zala was a little better off than Emma, so we decided to swap," said Chahed.
He also made tactical changes.
So captain Merle Barth moved back into the back four.
"It gave the defense more stability," said Chahed.
Against the bottom of the table Bremen, the Potsdam women found it incredibly difficult.
So the chances of Sara Holmgaard, who narrowly missed from close range (5th minute), a long-range shot by Marie Höbinger (25th) and a header by Malgorzata Mesjasz (30th), the only significant chances in the first half.
Even after the break, both teams offered lean meals in the empty Karl-Liebknecht-Stadion.

Potsdam has the opportunity to do better on Sunday (2 p.m.) at home against SC Sand, before SV Meppen comes to Potsdam for the catch-up game on the following Wednesday.
