The Prime Minister announces the resumption of the stronghold of the leader of the armed group Ali Darassa, the village of Bokolobo.

What the UPC denies.

But on the ground, loyalist forces have been advancing for several weeks, while on January 13 the CPC attempted an attack on the capital Bangui.

They started with the resumption of the supply corridor and moved forward on the main axes of the country.

The Central African Armed Forces supported by bilateral Russian and Rwandan forces have deployed in much of the west of the country, have recovered border towns such as Garoua Boulai or Gamboula.

The advance to the east has also started.

They arrived in the Ngakobo area, stronghold of Ali Darassa's UPC, where they had not been present for several years.

Our forces will continue their advance to the east to reestablish order and security definitively.

From now on, it will be the same everywhere

”insists the Prime Minister on social networks.

Among the authorities' objectives, to regain control of the borders, of the main axes, but also of mining sites such as Ndassima or Totoyo.

On the ground there is fighting in some localities but more generally the elements of the CPC withdraw in front of the advance of the army.

One of the challenges for the regular forces is to maintain their positions and security on the axes.

In a press release on Wednesday, the CPC ensures that it will adopt this position of withdrawal following the recommendations of the regional summit in Luanda on January 29.

The CPC ensures that its capacities are "

almost intact

", take note of President Touadéra's refusal to dialogue and will lead to "

a military-security hardening

".

An advance of the legal forces while the 2nd round of legislative elections must be held this Sunday as well as the resumption of the 1st round in the constituencies which could not vote or which were canceled on December 27, in particular because of the actions carried out by the CPC.
