The 14-year-old girl will have to explain herself this Wednesday afternoon in court.
A teenage girl, educated in 3rd grade in a college in Meyzieu, near Lyon, was arrested at the beginning of the week following violence committed against one of her teachers.
The teenager is suspected of having thrown a "rigid glue pot" in his face, said the Lyon police.
The facts took place on Monday morning during the 9 o'clock class.
The principal of the establishment had to intervene to suspend the course.
The perpetrator was identified during the day because the teacher had probably not seen who had targeted him.
The teenager then presented herself to the police station but denied the facts while in police custody.
