According to the official website of the National Health Commission, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 5 new confirmed cases from 0-24 o'clock on March 9th, all overseas Imported cases (2 in Shanghai, 1 in Henan, 1 in Guangdong, and 1 in Shaanxi); no new deaths; 3 new suspected cases, all imported from abroad (all in Shanghai).
8 new cases were cured and discharged on the same day, and 206 close contacts were released from medical observation. The severe cases were the same as the previous day.
There are currently 172 confirmed cases imported from abroad (no severe cases), and 3 suspected cases.
A total of 5104 confirmed cases, a total of 4932 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.
As of 24:00 on March 9, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 177 confirmed cases (no severe cases), a total of 85,194 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,636 deaths. There are 90,007 confirmed cases reported, and 3 suspected cases are present.
A total of 982,120 close contacts have been traced, and 4699 close contacts are still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 16 new asymptomatic infections (all imported from abroad); no cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day; 11 cases of medical observation were lifted on the same day (10 imported from abroad); 251 cases of asymptomatic infections were under medical observation (all imported from abroad).
A total of 12,145 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
Among them, there were 11,120 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (10,662 discharged, 202 deaths), 48 in Macau Special Administrative Region (47 discharged), and 977 cases in Taiwan (932 discharged, 10 deaths).
