09 March 2021 The new national Covid vaccination plan will be presented on Thursday at the Conference of the Regions.

The main novelty should be the green light for the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine to the 70-79 age group, who in this way will no longer have to wait for the arrival of the Pfizer and Moderna doses.

This was summarized by the president of the Liguria Region, Giovanni Toti, who had an interview with the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza.

Under the new plan, the Liguria Region plans to "direct general practitioners as scheduled to vaccinate vulnerable people and categories up to 69 through AstraZeneca".

From March 17 in Liguria, those between 75 and 79 years old will be able to book the vaccine through Liguria Digitale, Cup and toll-free number, the administrations should start in parallel to those over 80 probably starting from March 22, while from March 23 they will be able to book the 70- 74 years old, always through online mode with Liguria Digitale, Cup and toll-free number.
