09 March 2021 The Turin police have been carrying out, from the early hours of dawn, a series of "restrictive measures" against the perpetrators of the devastation and looting that took place on the evening of 26 October 2020, when over 40 shops were looted in the Turin city center on the occasion of a demonstration against government restrictions adopted to deal with the pandemic.

Among the recipients there are both adults and minors, many of them second generation immigrants, with numerous precedents for various types of crime and residing mainly in suburban areas of the city.

Investigators explain that the 'rioters', unrelated to the initial demonstrators, had staged a real 'urban guerrilla', engaging in violent clashes against the police, devastating numerous shops and damaging some parked cars and service vehicles of the police forces. police officers employed in the public order service.

The activity in progress, which involves over 200 police operators, is carried out under the coordination of the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office and the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office at the Turin Juvenile Court.
