According to the Greek "China Greek Times" report, on March 7, local time, the Greek Civil Aviation Authority issued an announcement stating that the restrictions on domestic and international flights will be extended to March 16, 2021 and 2021, respectively. March 22 to curb the spread of the new coronavirus.

　　The domestic flight deadline is extended, and only basic travel (including health reasons, business travel, family reunion and return to long-term residence) flights are provided, valid until 06:00 on March 16, 2021;

　　The international flight restrictions are extended to 06:00 on March 22, 2021;

　　Prohibit citizens of third countries outside the EU and the Schengen Agreement from entering Greece;

　　Suspend flights between Greece and Turkey;

　　All flights between Albania and North Macedonia to and from Greece will only be allowed to take off and land at "Athens Airport";

　　Citizens of the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the Russian Federation, and Israel are excluded from the aviation directive:

　　Rwanda and Singapore that were previously on this list have been removed.

　　Flights for Russian permanent residents entering Greece are only allowed to land at the airports of Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion, and 500 passengers are restricted from entering each week;

　　All passengers entering Greece from the United Kingdom and the UAE will undergo a rapid test for the new crown virus upon arrival and complete a 7-day quarantine.

There will be another nucleic acid test before the end of the quarantine, and only passengers whose test results are negative can be released from the quarantine;

　　Before 6 am on March 22, 2021, all passengers arriving in Greece from abroad must have a negative nucleic acid test certificate, and the test should be completed within 72 hours before arriving in Greece.

Upon arrival in Greece, a rapid test for the new coronavirus will be carried out again;

　　All passengers arriving in Greece on international flights (including flights within the European Union) must undergo self-quarantine for at least 7 days. If they test positive on arrival, they must be quarantined for 14 days; the quarantine location must be in the "Passenger Location Form" Fill it out clearly.

Local residents departing from Greece on international flights must also fill out this form.
