09 March 2021 Another tragedy in the waters of the Mediterranean. This time there would be at least 4 children among the 14 victims of the shipwreck off the coast of Sfax, in eastern Tunisia.



The news was reported by the Tunisian National Guard.



Set sail in the night aboard two makeshift boats, most of the migrants came from sub-Saharan Africa to try to reach Europe, said the spokesman, Houcem Eddine Jebabli.



The spokesperson told Mosaique FM local radio that 14 bodies were recovered, including those of 4 children and 9 women. Meanwhile, operations continue in search of any other survivors.
